Falling asleep, a dreamer experiences strong rhythms and expressions of his unconscious.

Drawn and painted in watercolours on a small field size this is the fall of a dreamer into the earth, where he meets strange and sometimes threatening dancing figures with the tribal feel being enhanced through the beating of his own heart. At a fireplace he steals the fire and is then being pursued by the tribesmen. This was my first film in England and to my surprise I suddenly felt close to German Expressionism.
