Pop video to music by Was not Was - Hello Dad I’m in Jail

Unlike traditional music-videos this is more like a short film using story and music from an unusual and almost narrative song and soundtrack by Was Not Was. The wax and ink technique used leaves dried black spots of ink boiling on top of white, red and yellow wax. This matches the and increases the aggressive soundtrack and emotionally charged narrative of a father-son relationship: “Hello, Dad, I’m in jail, I like it here, it’s nice...” Images are simple and transitions and camera moves are animated to keep a constant train of emotion and association.
