Gourmand (1996)

Grad film

Directed by Andrew Higgins

Synopsis
A hungry man arrives to eat well in a top restaurant. The cuisine though, is in particularly high demand.
Director's Statement
Once the story had been finalised, finding the right atmosphere for the film was very important. A rhythm for the film was also critical - the aim was to blend together the activities of all those ‘participating’: the waiter, the diners, the chefs in the kitchen, all to create a rich rhythm of movement and sound, that would eventually be broken.
