Director's Statement
May is based on a true story about the admission of an elderly woman into a psychiatric hospital. I wanted to convey the sense that something important and possibly dangerous was about to occur by switching between the nurse at the hospital and the police van in the streets. Therefore I hoped to create a strong emotional reaction when May is revealed at the end.
