Jack is fifteen years-old and just about to leave school.  He wants it and he wants it now, just like on TV.  Unfortunately, that is not going to happen.

This animation was made using Flash, After Effects and Maya.  I combined photographs, painted textures and bold “Flash” colours to create a visually stimulating world for the characters to inhabit.

The story deals with aspiration culture, branding and the effects this can have on the individual child.  Jack is caught in a trap between the aspirations he has been sold and the reality he inhabits, and so he decides to do something about it.
