An awkward odyssey from the British Museum into the underworld offers Theo the chance to meet his inner beast and commence the perilous journey towards manhood.The museum comes alive for this boy on the cusp of discovering his sexual power, but more shocking is what he finds in the depths of his subconscious.

I wanted to show something of the world of the teenage boy on the edge of puberty as I think it is a subject that has been quite ignored by filmmakers. I chose to make this a semi-silent film as that is often the preferred mode of the teenager.
